Author Talk: Ky Cochran

November 21, 2014 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Free

Muscatine Journal reporter and author Ky Cochran started serializing her first novel last year during National Novel Writing Month. Ky is now one year into her project and is ready to share her progress!

About Ky:
Ky Cochran is a published poet, journalist, film reviewer and a web serialist. She covers the education beat, as well as other local topics, for the Muscatine Journal and occasionally her journalistic pursuits take her elsewhere, such as Ferguson, Missouri this past August. She’s a novelist in her heart of hearts, however, and is fulfilling her desire to present her work to an audience by serializing her first novel, We Built This Home Ourselves.

We Built This Home Ourselves is the first installment of the We Built This Home trilogy — currently being published at webuiltthishome.net — wherein five diverse young adults create a family together while dealing with the trials of coming of age in modern-day America.

We are very excited to hear from Ky as she talks about the story, her characters, and the process she is using to serialize her book.
