SUMMARY:Belly Dancing With Melanie Moore: Extra Class Added!
DESCRIPTION:This class is an addition to the regularly scheduled belly dancing classes and takes the place of the class which was canceled on Thursday\, May 9\, 2013. Belly dancing with the amazing Melanie Moore is back by popular demand! Great for all fitness levels\, these classes are designed for all people who have never danced before\, people who have danced but not explored this style\, and for perfection and review of technique for dancers already familiar with American Tribal Style belly dance. Level 1 includes a minimum of one slow and one fast move per class\, and a review of the moves already covered. As classes progress\, we add all the moves together\, learning transitions and combinations. We learn to recognize the cues used for this group improvisational style. We also learn a basic zill (finger cymbals) pattern to accompany Level 1 dancing. Loaner zills are available in class. Each class also includes stretching and strengthening moves. \nThere is no registration required\, just remember to wear comfortable clothing! This program is free and open to the public.
