Each month\, members of the book club select and discuss books chosen by its members. Discussions are led by a library staff member and encourage the open exchange of ideas. DESCRIPTION:If you easily relate to the journeys of characters in science fiction and fantasy books and movies\, the library’s own Carrie Olson has created a trivia night just for you! \nCome rule this kingdom (or planet – or dimension) with your knowledge of some of the past century’s greatest imaginative epic tales that have required many books\, movies\, or seasons of episodes to tell! Clear your schedule from 5:30 to 7:30 pm for Sci-Fi and Fantasy Trivia Night! \nIf you are not familiar with the way the library’s trivia nights work\, you don’t need seven progressively longer books to understand it. Trivia starts at 6 pm\, but you need to arrive early – before the library closes. These are team competitions\, so if you do not come with one\, just find people to team with when you arrive. The game is broken into a series of “rounds” with breaks in between. One team wins the night’s prize. No registration is required. \nSnacks and drinks are provided\, and thematic costumes are encouraged. Come mingle with people who share your interests!
