When kids are able to read on their own, it doesn’t mean they still don’t benefit from the experience of reading together. Mother Daughter Book Club aims to be the kind of place where girls and their mom (or other special adult) can have fun, enjoy activities, and still have the kind of closeness that leads to talking about things that really matter. Check at the Children’s desk for Book Club titles to be taken home, but please don’t let not having read the book ahead of time keep you away. Katie Roquet will help you experience literature in a happy, nurturing, fun environment.
Ages 8-12, plus Mom or other adult
