Visit Discovery Park on May 20 to learn more about foraging for edible plants. Library and Cedar County Conservation staff will lead us on a fun adventure hike through Discovery Park to find all sorts of wonderful native Iowa plants and even some wildlife. We’ll talk about which plants are edible and ways to identify them. Nature enthusiasts, individuals and families, will all enjoy this program about learning and exploring nature.

Please meet at the Environmental Learning Center in Discovery Park. Our adventure will begin at 10 am. This is an outdoor event with moderate physical activity.
