Bring the Library to Your Door!

For those who cannot easily visit the library, our Home Delivery Service ensures you can still enjoy access to books, audiobooks, and more. This program is specifically designed to support our homebound and elderly patrons, delivering materials directly to your residence so you can continue to read and explore.

How It Works

  1. Fill out our registration form below or call us at 563-263-3065. We’ll confirm your eligibility and preferences.
  2. Browse our catalog online or call our delivery service coordinator (ext. 114). Let us know what you’d like to check out. We can even select titles for you!
  3. A library staff member or volunteer will deliver your requested items right to your door.
  4. When it’s time to return your items, give us a call and we’ll stop by.

Who is Eligible?

This free service is reserved for library cardholders who reside within the city of Muscatine who are temporarily or permanently unable to visit the library due to illness, disability, or a physical condition. If you are a caregiver for an eligible patron, you may also sign up for the service on their behalf with their library card information.
