The Library is Reopening June 1st, 2020!

May 28, 2020

The Musser Public Library & HNI Community Center is excited to announce that as part of our Phased Reopening process, we are opening our doors to the public again on June 1st, 2020 at 10am!

We will have reduced services (all the details can be found here) as well as reduced hours (M-F 10-6pm, Sat 10-2pm, & Sun 1-3pm). All the meeting rooms and study rooms will also be closed until further notice. All programming and events are also canceled until further notice.

We have to limit the number of patrons and staff in the building to 5o people at a time and we are limiting the time patrons spend in the building to 1 hour. Computers and printing will be available to those who need it-just come to the front desk to make a computer reservation. Mask use while in the building is encouraged and we will provide masks for patrons who need them as long as supplies last. Please respect Social Distancing Guidelines.

All  books, DVDs, CDs, and other materials will be available to browse and checkout using our self-check machines. Staff will be performing regular cleaning of high-contact surfaces and the library will provide disinfectant wipes to patrons who request them.

Items from other libraries in the RiverShare system will be available for holds beginning June 15th. The library is also resuming Inter-Library Loan (ILL) services beginning June 1st.

Our highest priority is to maintain the health and safety of our community while providing the vast array of library services that you have come to expect.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate through this challenging time.
